Concrete Cut Core Demo Technician
Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Concrete Cutting, Coring & Demolition Technician to join our growing team. This role is essential in executing precise concrete modifications and controlled demolition work across a range of commercial and industrial job sites. The ideal candidate will have experience with cutting and coring tools, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Duties
- Operate concrete cutting and coring equipment including wall saws, flat saws, core drills, and hand tools.
- Execute selective demolition projects while ensuring minimal impact to surrounding structures.
- Review job specifications and site conditions to plan safe and efficient cutting/coring operations.
- Work with site supervisors and project managers to coordinate workflow and meet project timelines.
- Perform pre-operation checks and basic maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal function.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering strictly to safety guidelines and PPE requirements.
- Accurately document job site activities, material usage, and equipment maintenance.
Qualifications
- Previous experience with concrete cutting, coring, or demolition tools preferred; willing to train highly motivated individuals.
- Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with construction environments.
- Physically capable of handling equipment and working in demanding conditions, including confined spaces.
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license required, ability to obtain Med Card
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to safety and compliance with all jobsite regulations and procedures.
